Who We Are:  FAIR is an all volunteer organization which exists to support, educate, and advocate for adoptive families and children. We invite you to join us for activities based in the Northern California area or as a reader of our magazine News from FAIR.

• The monthly San Francisco support and networking group will resume in the fall.
• News from FAIR, the Special Kids Edition is printed and will be on its way soon!
• Thanks to Nancy Ng, Beckett Haight, Mollie McCleod and everyone else who made Get Published Day a great success.  Congratulations to all of the young writers, poets, and artists who participated.
• The FAIR on ICE party at Belmont Iceland featured FAIR skaters of all ages and talents.  The “pushing chairs” were especially popular.  Lot ’s of networking was going on at the tables.  We plan to have the next skating event in October at the Winter Lodge, but will probably also plan a party at the Belmont location, due to popular demand.
• A belated thank you to Amy Klatzkin and her army of volunteers for organizing a fantastic Play Shop weekend with Jane Brown.  There were record numbers of children involved and the diversity of the groups was greatly increased this year.  We look forward to next year’s Play Shop days.

She will search for other families and contact them to see if they would like to be involved. FAIR does not give out member’s contact information without permission of that member.
